City Hall Reopen September 2nd
8/28/2025
Official Statement from Mayor Ken Padilla of Campbell, Texas
Dear Campbell Residents,
As your mayor, I’m beyond excited to announce a bold new chapter for our great city! For the past couple of weeks, City Hall has been temporarily closed as we’ve undertaken the critical task of hiring a new administrative assistant—a pivotal step toward restoring order and professionalism to our operations. This closure was essential to ensure we’re building a team capable of serving you, our valued residents, with the excellence you deserve.
Let’s be clear: the previous administration’s hiring practices were nothing short of a disservice to Campbell. Their choices left our city’s processes in disarray, riddled with inefficiencies and dysfunction that we’re now working tirelessly to repair. Unlike those who came before, we’re committed to assembling a team that matches the intelligence, pride, and resilience of our community. We’re nearly ready to fling open the doors of City Hall once more, stronger and more capable than ever.
I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused by the office closure. This necessary pause reflects our unwavering dedication to getting things right for Campbell’s future. Your patience is deeply appreciated, and I assure you, it’s all in service of making our city a model of excellence.
I’m proud to introduce the newest member of our team, Dylan Drozeski, who’s helping us rebuild Campbell’s foundation with integrity and skill. A U.S. Veteran raised in Dublin, Texas, by a police officer father and an EMT mother, Dylan embodies the values of service, resilience, and community. His diverse career—spanning federal employee retirement services, bitcoin mining, and customer support—demonstrates his adaptability and problem-solving prowess. Married for nine years to his best friend, Dylan brings loyalty, clear communication, and a steady hand to everything he does, making him a vital asset as we restore order to City Hall.
With Dylan and our renewed vision, we’re ready to deliver the professional, responsive service Campbell deserves. Thank you for standing with us as we transform our city for the better. Together, we’ll make Campbell shine brighter than ever!
Sincerely,
Ken Padilla
Mayor of Campbell, Texas
